This easy Homemade Breath Dog Treat Recipe is the perfect breath saver treat to make if you have a dog. We usually buy Bentley dog breath treats, but after Kylie read the ingredients, she opted to make them instead.

Old-Fashioned Oats

Fresh Mint– You will want this to be fresh mint. Dried mint will work in a pinch, but fresh mint will be more active in helping the dog’s breath.

How To Make homemade dog breath treats:

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.

In a food processor, ground up 2 1/2 cups of oatmeal into an almost flour-like consistency. (Leave aside the extra 1/4 cup for a minute). I use mine for so many different things, and it is so much easier than a cheese grater; your knuckles will thank you!

Chopping up the herbs, I stripped my mint off the stem and then chopped just the leaves of the mint.
